The book I am reading is Matilda, by Roald Dahl. I just started the book and it is pretty good. It is funny as Matilda plays tricks on her mean parents. She super glued her dads hat to his head and it pulled out his hair.
I wrote my poem about the main character Matilda, here It goes.
Matilda
Matilda is extra ordinary
she loves to read books
she taught herself to read
she is brilliant and sensitive
she is tiny and smart .
Have you read any Roald Dahl books?

Dear Jessica,
The super glue would definitely pull out your hair! Matilda reminds me of Ramona Quimby. Your poem helps me know more about Matilda. Why do you think her parents are mean?

Dear Jessica,
I love the book Matilda! She’s a strong, bright, independent girl who knows her mind. Who does that sound like? 🙂
