Life in Space
Have you ever wanted to see the stars up close? Have you ever wanted to feel weightless?
If you answer yes to those questions, then you might be interested in a job as an astronaut. However, the job of being an astronaut is very hard. Not only is being an astronaut hard on their body, but they need to train a lot before going into space, and they have difficult jobs to do while they are in space.
First, being in space is hard on the astronaut’s body. According to source #2, ’’Astronaut’s other muscles and their bones can also get weaker.” On earth, we run around and and exercise with gravity, which helps our muscles and bones grow strong. In space, there is no gravity, so astronauts have to exercise extra hard to keep their muscles and bones strong. If you see astronauts headed to space with a treadmill, now you know why.
One way astronauts prevent themselves from getting weak in space is by training really hard before they go to space. They run, they lift weights, and they eat well. In addition to physical training, astronauts also train repeatedly on the jobs they will do in space. Often this training is done under water to simulate weightlessness.
Astronauts train a lot to perform many jobs . One of their jobs to pilots the space shuttle. When something breaks they need to know how to fix it . Also, there are no grocery stores in space so the astronauts must resupply the ISS. astronaut do not have it easy. As you have just going into space can harm astronauts body. Even before they they go into space, they have to they have to train for hours to prepair. Once they are in space, they have difficult jobs to do. So next time you see a satellite drifting through the sky, remember all the hard work an astronauts did to make it happen

Dear Jessica,
I’m so happy that you posted our classroom and your great research on your blog. We had so much fun learning together about astronauts having difficult jobs and training. What was your favorite thing to learn about astronauts?
Happy blogging,

Dear Jessica,
The astronauts post you did was amazing! I’m so glad that we were able to finish the astronaut report together. It really turned out great. I hope that you will be able to take great notes so that you can make a great report when the time comes to make one on your own. I also loved the picture that you put on your post for the presentation on astronauts. I think that we will both do amazing on our big test. We will both do great! Can you tell me more about the stars and planets that are in space?
Howdy,
your great friend, Katie

Dear Jessica,
Don’t you think that all Astronauts that enter into space should be great people? If so I totally agree. Astronauts work for hundreds of hours each day just so they can be prepared before entering into space. Astronauts put their time and effort into training to work on being a pilot, swimming, Medical skills and more! It’s really fascinating to see the stars and other planets from earth. Sometimes you can even see planets without a microscope. You can see the Sun at day time, but don’t get light in your eyes because that can burn your Retina! You can also see that Moon and the stars at night. You can also see constellations in the sky at night too. Another great and fascinating thing you can see at night is the Milky way. You won’t always see it, but when you do it’s really cool!
You did great on your post and you are a talented person!
From your classmate,
Katie
